Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

1️⃣ Make the Blueberry Base

Add blueberries to a food processor and blend until smooth.
Transfer the puree to a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and
simmer for about 15 minutes until slightly thickened.

2️⃣ Chill the Mixture

Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl.
Refrigerate for
1–2 hours, or until completely cooled.

3️⃣ Prepare the Cream Base

In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract  until smooth and slightly thickened.

4️⃣ Combine & Freeze

Gently fold the chilled blueberry mixture into the cream base until fully combined.
Pour into a loaf pan or freezer-safe container and smooth the top.

5️⃣ Freeze & Enjoy

Freeze for at least 4–6 hours, or until firm.
Scoop, serve, and enjoy your homemade blueberry ice cream!
